Intrusion Detection System. System that monitors communication lines and notifies the administrator when an intrusion is detected in the network. There are two types of IDS for analyzing packets flowing on the network, detecting those with unauthorized access, notifying the administrator, and accumulating communication records. These are the network-type surveillance which monitors packets on the network, and the server-type surveillance for monitoring a server's I/O packets.
The "Sons of the Patriots" System is equipped with a system similar to IDS, and is capable of detecting hacking attempts.
