Metal Gear

Synopsis

Metal Gear

The year is 1995. Outer Heaven - a small but powerfully armed nation within South Africa - is discovered to be hard at work in constructing 'Metal Gear' - a new type of nuclear weapon, one which would grant it superiority over the rest of the world. NATO calls upon the assistance of FOXHOUND, first sending in Grey Fox - a veteran operative - into Outer Heaven... However, Fox is later captured by the enemy and held hostage. As an act of desperation, FOXHOUND sends in an untried rookie known as Solid Snake to rescue Grey Fox and to destroy Metal Gear. Read the full Metal Gear Brief Synopsis.
